Norwegian Maritime Authority Approved

Important Information:

After completing your course and receiving your training certificate, you will need to upload it to the Norwegian Maritime Authority’s website to obtain your official Certificate of Proficiency, which is now issued digitally. This process is quick, secure, and user-friendly.

Many flag states (Such as Norway and Liberia) are transitioning to digital certification systems, allowing for faster and more reliable verification by Port State Control. We are proud to be one of the first training providers to adopt this new approach. Uploading your certificate takes just a few minutes and ensures your credentials are safely stored and easily accessible online.

Please note that a fee of approximately €60  is payable directly to the Norwegian Maritime Authority for this service.

IMPORTANT  – Check your training organisation

Before enrolling with any training provider (even if it’s not us – we won’t take it personally!), it is essential to verify that the organisation is officially approved as a training provider to deliver STCW courses by the flag state they advertise (for us, that’s the Norwegian Maritime Authority). Sadly, there have been instances of online companies offering training without the required accreditation and certification being invalidated as a result. You can find our approval as a training organisation here
