We envisioned a maritime e-learning platform that offers high-quality training to seafarers at fair prices.
To achieve this, we developed our own e-learning site, seafarer.online , here you will find lots of engaging courses at competitive prices. We strive to improve upon the current outdated offerings on the market.

Our Story
At Seafarer.online, we’re a team of serving and former Merchant Navy officers who know what life at sea is really like. Our directors – Jordan, Andy, and Greg – all hold MCA (UK) Certificates of Competency, with Jordan and Andy having sailed in senior ranks. Between us, we’ve clocked up more than 25 years at sea across a wide range of sectors, so we understand both the industry and its training needs inside out.
We launched Seafarer.online in 2024 after becoming frustrated with the outdated and limited training options available to seafarers. Our goal is simple: to create high-quality, accessible courses designed by seafarers, for seafarers. In 2025, we achieved our first flag state approvals – a big milestone for us – but this is just the start. We’ll be expanding our course range to give seafarers even more choice and flexibility at fair prices.
Why Estonia?
It’s a fair question! Our team is spread across the UK, Spain, and Japan, so we needed a central business base that works internationally.
